Cuttack, Odisha: Maharashtra’s rising taekwondo talent, Arya Naik of Zeus Taekwondojang Club, has won the Gold Medal in Freestyle Individual Poomsae at the 4th Sub Junior National Taekwondo Championship 2025, held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Cuttack, Odisha, from 28th to 31st August 2025.
In a proud moment, the medal was presented to Arya Naik by the Chief Minister of Sikkim, Prem Singh Tamang, during the closing ceremony of the championship.

The prestigious event was hosted by India Taekwondo, the only governing body of Taekwondo in India affiliated with World Taekwondo (WT) and officially recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

The Association Taekwondo for Pune District (ATPD) extended heartfelt congratulations to Arya Naik for this remarkable achievement, highlighting how the victory has brought pride not only to Team Maharashtra but also to the wider Taekwondo fraternity of Pune.
